For teen's, there are two basic issues: is one of them jail bait? If so, that's a big problem. Is one of them using the other? The twenty-something bad boy and the naive 18 year old is just so over done...
The age itself isn't the issue. It's the baggage that goes along with it.

It depends, honey! I was a 15/16 GIRL dating an 18/20 year old MAN and never knew it!!! However, I was also a 27 woman dating a 21 year old man and it was a very big part of our relationship. I had kids with each. I am currently married to the younger man. It took love and work to stay together. I think you still have some growing to do!

26-60 is a big age difference. If you 16 and you date a 18 or 19 year old, in my opinion, that's not a bad age difference. As long as you parents approve of the age difference, I don't see a problem with it.

Age is relative they say, but in fact each age “group” has its own life stages and the bigger the age gap the bigger these differences will become. Choosing to date someone much older than yourself or much younger is really dependent on your attitude to age.
3-4 years is not a huge deal, its when you starting jumping the generational age gap (15yrs) that you really find a relationship difficult. Your only solution lies in in communication, be open and honest. Good luck.

Age shouldn't matter when it comes to the heart. A few years means nothing and if you don't have a problem with it then go nuts.

Not really unless one of you is 18 and the other is younger that can cause some problems.
