I am a 25 year old male and my wife is 23.
I am a healthy person, but smokes.
My wife is a non-smoker, but does not have a healthy diet.
We have tried to make a child a couple of times before, but nothing.
We have tried some of the positions recommended to be the most pregnancy potential positions.

I am aware that there are pills, lubrication, and other things that can help us both. But what I am looking for is some no bull way's to boost my potency and her fertility. These recommendations can come from personal accounts or may be doctor recommended ways.

!!!!Please Help!!!!

My question is, is there anything that can be done to amp her or my potential?

How to get Pregnant Faster – Top Ten Tips

1. Have sex three times a week.

Having regular sex is the best way to get pregnant. Couples often try to time everything perfectly for ovulation but do not have sex when they think they are not ovulating. It is true that sex that is not within the time of ovulation will not result in pregnancy. However, because women do not always ovulate when they think they will, having sex three times a week will help to a woman cover her bases, so to speak, and not miss an opportunity to get pregnant.
2. Use an ovulation prediction kit or fertility monitor.

Using an ovulation kit to predict when you are ovulating will improve your chances of getting pregnant. For many women charting or other methods of ovulation prediction are too confusing. Ovulation prediction kits work by reading LH surges prior to ovulation. They are relatively easy to use and are generally accurate for predicting ovulation. Fertility monitors, such as the Clear Blue Easy monitor, are also a worthwhile investment if you would like to get pregnant faster. Fertility monitors are similar to ovulation prediction kits in that they read changes in LH but they also read changes in other hormones and don’t require any guesswork for couples. They are easy to use and will tell you when the best time to get pregnant is.

3. Have sex before ovulation (not after).

Sometimes couples get confused about the best time to have sex in relationship to ovulation. You have a small window of time each month to get pregnant. After a woman ovulates the egg will survive approximately 24 hours. Sperm, on the other hand, will live for up to three to five days. This is why having sex two to three days before ovulation will increase your chances of getting pregnant. Don’t wait until the day you ovulate to have sex. Your partner’s sperm will last longer than your egg and you don’t want to miss an opportunity by waiting.

4. Don’t rely on the Calendar method for predicting ovulation.

A lot of couples have heard to have sex around day fourteen of your cycle. This is based on the calendar method and assumes that you have a regular 28-day cycle and ovulate mid-cycle. Although this is better than just picking an arbitrary day to have sex, it is not a very accurate way to predict when you ovulate. Many women do not ovulate on day fourteen and knowing precisely when you ovulate will help you time intercourse better. Ovulation prediction kits, looking at previous months bbt charts, or watching for body cues will help you to determine when you ovulate.

5. Charting may not be the best way to predict ovulation.

Charting is great for tracking your cycle but it does have disadvantages. By the time you can see ovulation on a bbt chart, you have already ovulated. It is good to chart so you can track your cycles, see if you ovulate the same time each month, and also so you can look back on your cycle and see if you timed things right. But if this is your first cycle trying to get pregnant or if you are not ovulating at the same time each month, an ovulation prediction kit would be more helpful.

6. See a doctor before you start trying to get pregnant.
Make sure you are in good health and have had a regular check up from your OBGYN or medical provider. Untreated infections, sexually transmitted diseases, or poor health can affect your chances of getting pregnant. Its good to see a doctor as well as start taking prenatal vitamins prior to trying to conceive.

7. Don’t smoke, drink alcohol, or abuse drugs when trying to get pregnant.
This may seem like common sense but many women do try to get pregnant while smoking, drinking or using drugs. Smoking, drugs, and alcohol can affect your fertility. It will also affect your unborn child. It is important to stop smoking or using drugs and alcohol before getting pregnant and not wait until you find out you are pregnant.

8. Have enjoyable sex.

Sometimes when couples are trying to conceive, sex becomes a job or function of reproduction and is not as enjoyable. Plan a romantic evening or try something different to spice things up. How you are feeling sexually may factor into your chances of getting pregnant. Some researchers believe that having an orgasm during sex increases your chances of getting pregnant. For women, the spasmic movements of orgasm will help pull the sperm into the uterus and for men a better orgasm may increase the man’s sperm count.

9. Have sex in positions that keep sperm inside the vagina longer.

The missionary position is a good position to use when trying to get pregnant. Avoid positions where the woman is on top. Gravity will allow sperm to leak out with these positions. Also try placing a pillow under your hips to help tilt your pelvis and keep the sperm in longer. Don’t get up right after sex. Try to relax and allow the sperm to stay in the vagina as long as possible.

10. There is no such thing as trying too hard to get pregnant.
Most couples get pregnant within a year of trying. If you have not gotten pregnant within a year consult your doctor for advice.

Well, for starters, never blow into her vagina. It can be painful and could even cause damage. The only way to get your sperm into her uterus is for her to orgasm at about the same time as you. When a woman orgasms her cervix (which is a muscle) actually contracts and draws the sperm into the uterus where it needs to be to fertilize the egg. Often women know exactly when they conceive because the simultaneous orgasms and their intuition they just know. I knew the moment I got pregnant with my first child. Timing is also important, women generally ovulate about 2 weeks after the first day or their period. So that first day of her period count 14 days, and she should be ovulating. The signs of ovulation are similar to the premenstrual signs, like irritability and breast tenderness. Work on her orgasming around the same time as you or after you. If you climax before her finish the job another way. Also go to you local video store or library and rent this movie it is an older movie but it is VERY informative...The Miracle Of Life. It shows you in detail all the circumstances that have to be right to achieve conception. And it will also show you how lucky and blessed you are to conceive at all. I wouldn't recommend any lotions or anything like that, alto of those things contain spermicides. Also the fluid in a woman's vagina is very acidy and along with that kind of stuff you are giving your sperm a smaller chance of surviving especially if you climax before her and have to resort to other means to get her off. Now there is a home remedy that I have heard even doctors mention, have her take Robitussin when she is ovulating, and it is supposed to loosen the mucus that lives in the vagina and make it easier for the sperm to get through. GOOD LUCK, AND HAPPY BABY MAKING!

If you have been trying to conceive for a will you should go and see you GP and talk to them about going on some sort of Fertility Treatment. They will explain too you the best place to start, i started on Fertility Drugs only last month and they started me on Clomid which is supposedly the first Drug they give most people then followed by Gonadotropins if it doesnt work. Your best bet is to first explore the web and read up on Clomid, before you go to your GP just so you will have a better understanding on what they are talking about it will also show them that you are serious and have been doing your homework on the Drugs available.
Good Luck!!!!

Fertility Drugs: fertility drugs, forms of hormone therapy, are designed to trick the ovaries into producing eggs, sometimes many eggs in a single cycle, by stimulating the woman's hormones to do their assigned jobs more efficiently or by replacing them with "outside" hormones.
Clomiphene, marketed under the brand names of Clomid and Serophene and used for the treatment of infertility problems for more than twenty-five years, is an agent that increases the hormone production. Taken by tablet, clomiphene works by making the pituitary gland produce large quantities of FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone).
The FSH in turn stimulates ovulation - in fact, sometimes accomplishing its purpose so well that it results in the release of two or more eggs, giving a woman on clomiphene a 10 percent chance of carrying twins.
Pergonal and Metrodin are powdered forms of FSH and are mixed with sterile water and taken by intramuscular injections.

What Clomid is used for
About 20% of couples who experience difficulty in conceiving, do so because the woman's ovaries are not producing and releasing an egg each menstrual cycle (anovulation). Your doctor has prescribed Clomid to treat this.
Clomid acts by causing a gland in the brain (the anterior pituitary) to release hormones which stimulate ovulation.
It must be remembered that there are many causes of anovulation, so Clomid may not be effective in all cases.
When taking Clomid there should be 28-32 days from the beginning of one period to the next. Your ovaries should release an egg 6-12 days after a course of Clomid. You should have intercourse around this time to maximise your chances of conception.
If your period does not arrive after the 35th day there are two likely possibilities:
• the dose of Clomid has not been sufficient to produce ovulation, or
• you are pregnant
If your period is overdue, contact your doctor/fertility unit and they will advise you what steps to take.
This medicine is available only with a doctor's prescription.

this is going to sound like a curt answer but is something that is very close to my heart.

consider adoption. i am sure there are children in your state who want parents as badly as you want children. added perk to this is many times you can adopt them already potty trained.

drawback is your first child will not be biological.

the answer to your last question is possibly. a fertililty doctor has a practice. that means maybe he can help with treatments and maybe not. most medicine is a theory. since the medical society did not create the human body they can't always fix whats broken or replace with a new part.

After sex she should immediately hold her legs up and prop up her rear for about thirty minutes. I know this sounds and looks stupid, but those at the last resort try everything. I did. It worked for me and two other people that I have passed this information on to. It gives a better angle for it to slide down instead of trying to travel up. Hope it helps. Good Luck.

First you should stop smoking
Second your wife should change her diet.

If you are serious about having children then you will have to sacrifice and make this effort as for when that child comes you will know all too well about sacrifice!

smoking can ruin your sperm. stop smoking, and she needs to eat healthy. it might take a while. stop concentrating on it, and relax. it's going to happen when you least expect it. quit smoking now, because it's not good for her to be breathing in the smaoke.
