First of all dancing encourages socialising. When you want to date, dancing is a way to start knowing someone, as most of the time the guys will ask the ladies to dance. If you are in a foreign country and u don't speak the language, but you can interact with the people at the town club by dancing together, and having fun on the dance floor. Like a blogger said, it is a bi-product of music, and they say music bring the people together..! So much for world peace!
It also helps to relieve stress by going to the club and dancing your night's worth. Most people I know go through a break up by having a night out at the club dancing. So these are a few common examples .

Dancing is also a form of exercise to keep the body healthy and fit or people make a living of it by getting hired as back-up dancers to popstars.

How has it changed the lives of
others you may know?
In learning to dance, did you have
any "aha" moments? What were
they?

I think there is a natural instinct to dance because if you play some music with a beat toddlers will "dance" to the music by moving to the beat. I love to dance and it frees my soul. Sme people can dance to anything and some people can't find the beat.

Music has done more for the human brain than red meat ever has. Predicting the beats in music has allowed us to increase brain use ie increasing our intelligence. Dancing, is a by-product of being exposed to music.

Dancing is often expresses our inner feelings. If you feel angry then perhaps you would express it through dynamic moves. If you were in love you would express it in slow soft and relaxing moves.

Dancing isn't about showing off flesh it's about expressing yourself and showing your feelings and inner self.
