Just let her work it out on her own . . . the trend will pass.
It's hard to convince any teenager obsessed with a trend that they are following a trend and not really whatever they think they're identifying as.

ha ha, if sth is trendy, you cannot ever convince a teenager to give it up..no way...But maybe you may convince her to sth better such as bisexuality, because from that point there is return :) (no kidding, just not to close the door to the opposite sex) But really this may work. She wouldn't protest because you r offering sth as much trendy as homosexuality..:) counter-attack!
you may tell her that the curiosity and some experiences are ok but a strict decision at that age would not mean anything at all

if she is a real lesbian there is not one thing you can do but be supportive..because she thinks it is "trendy" to me that means she is just curious about it. let her make her own decisions, depending on how underage she is..maybe she will experiment once and never look back..who is to say it has to be what is in her heart and not anyone elses. be there for her and listen to her. dont try to change her or her mind that will do nothing but tear you and her apart in the long run

well if she really is a lesbian then there is nothing you can do about it....but if she is saying it because she thinks it's trendy -then that's another matter...and I don't have an answer to that one.---but I don't really think that if she thought about it--it would be just a trend.

She will undoubtably have to "live and learn" and will come to know in time what she prefers. Unfortunately, IT IS TRENDY. The advent of "Come one, come all, come out of the closet"; indulge what your innermost being KNOWS is SIN~ has already made its grande entrance and now its commonplace.
Under age?......Should not be having sex at all, with men or women, or of course with donkeys too (lol..sorry-that was out of line!)..........
If you fight her verbally on the issue, history shows that in the challenge of "SELF" over commonsense....she will pry just rebel and engage in the sin regardless. She needs prayer.

My opinion only - Don't convince. Why?
"If it isn't broke don't fix it!
I think maybe let her find out her own calling in life.
With knowledge and mistakes as she processes in life it will become apparent.
If indeed she isn't really gay or not.
Only my thinking for all it's worth.

Don't. You don't know if she's really gay or not, and she's probably confused. True, she can be doing it for attention, but she's still thinking about it at least in some way. You should just let her know it's fine either way, but it's not okay to lead other people on just for attention.

If it is a trend, she will get over it. If not, then she really is a lesbian. You cannot force someone to live their life to your standards. 'I dont care', why do you care?

Possibly by minding your own business and not concerning yourself with other people's sexual orientation.
