The beatles used to play music on the right side and have vocals on the left channel.

You probably won't be able to completely remove the vocals, just make them more quiet. Find some karaoke software to do that for you.

If its already mixed onto the same audio track with the rest of the music instrument, its just technically irreversible.

Its either you have to asked the performer to provide you with the "mix minus" (thats what we call a music mix sans vocal) or you remake all over again.

You can't. just look for a karaoke version of the song. It will have the music without the lyrics.

Go back in time, find the author while writing the song & steal the paper from his/her pocket when s/he is done, that's the only way to remove lyrics.
