I for one have been in the same situation before, I fell in love with my best friend and of course you think that if you say something that the friendship is going to be over, and that is a possibility, however, you have to take that risk. I took that risk and it was for the best. We've been together for 5 years and just got engaged 8 months ago. So my advice to you is to tell her exactly how you feel, take her to a place that both of you like to go to together and just let her know that for the past 2 months you have been wanting to tell her that you have feelings for her if she doesn't feel the same then that is when your friendship will be put to the test. If both of you truly love each other as friends then this hopefully won't get in the way. I wish you the best of luck and hope that everything turns out great.

Sometimes it is soooo hard to do. I recently went through the same thing except I as a female wanted to tell my male friend. My friends told me, if you dont ask, you dont get. Every situation is different, and if you are truely good friends honesty is always the best. Look at it this way, you owe it to yourself to find out. If you put yourself out there to get an answer and she isnt receptive to the idea of being together...move on! If she doesnt see what a great guy you are already, dont compromise yourself to accept less than you deserve. You owe it to yourself to be happy! Believe me once you get with someone else she will be eating her heart out wondering why she ever let you get away!

This one is to be handled w/lots of respect. Due to the nature of the relationship, you must be careful. You could end up loosing your friend, I had a friend I loved like a brother, and once he told me he was in love w/me I just could not stay friends w/him. So what you might want to do is to maybe have a friend ask her if she would ever date you, and if yes then what do you have to loose. She just might be your soul mate, sometimes best-friends are the ones who make better lovers. It all depends on how much respect is there between you both, so treat it carefully.

Talk to her and find out if she likes you as more then a friend and tell her the way you feel about her. If she feels the same way, you'll know. Just talk to her and tell her.
