Absolutely not. When you can barely muster a completion percentage above 50%, cannot manage to throw more TDs than interceptions, and lead the 30th-ranked passing attack in the NFL, the Pro-Bowl is the LAST place you belong. He was carried by Travis Henry's 5th-ranked rushing attack and a turnover-happy defense, as well as superb special teams play. VY is over-hyped and his role in his team's success exaggerated beyond belief.
As for the QBs listed, Brady declined, but the others weren't even approached. VY probably only went because the NFL was desperate for a ratings boost and thus sent another undeserving media darling after Romo made a mockery of himself against the Seahawks...
LOL at Losman not being better than VY.
Losman- 268/429 62% 3,051 yds. 7.1 yds/att 19TDs 14INTs 84.9 rating
Young- 184/357 52% 2,199 yds. 6.2 yds/att 12TDs 13INTs 66.7 rating
Oh, right...VY "just won" one more game. Obviously, it was all VY, as proven by his irreplaceable contribution to the Titans aerial attack...

Losman and Carr were not better than Vince Young this season. Brady, Pennington, and McNair I think were banged up and perhaps wanted to rest instead of traveling. Vince Young isn't the best choice to be a pro-bowler, but he did do a ton for the Titans this year.

No, V. Young should not have made it. In my opinion this is the order of should have been selected to replace Rivers. But I'm sure Brady must of rejected though (either initially or after Rivers injury).
1. Brady
2. McNair
3. Pennington
4. Losman
5. Carr
Garrard and Huard had good seasons also, but only played 11 & 10 games.

Vince youthful isnt a expert bowl Quarterback yet. i comprehend he had 17 INT's and purely 9 TD's. He had a sixty two.3 of completion score this season. that's no longer a million/2 undesirable with the Receivers he has. provide him some solid abilities and he will make the professional bowl. I recommend appropriate now he almost has no vast names on the group. He actually, via himself, carried the Titans to a ten-6 checklist. in the journey that your asking me he's gunna be professional bowl ultimately yet he has to alter his sidewine throws to a greater more desirable throwing style.

From what I have heard, he was picked due to Brady opting out to play in a golf tournement. I think there were QB's that could have been picked instead of him, but since the Pro Bowl participants are picked by the public, it ended up being him.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he sucks. his passer rating was barely above 70, if that. if anybody turned a team into cotenders, I should have been Pennington, or McNair. The Titans didn't even make the playoffs, I think people forget that fact. If he was that good, they would have won 11 in a row with him, and made the playoffs.

He played well enough to be in the Pro Bowl, but he shouldn't have gone ahead of Tom Brady

Yes because he took a poor team and made them contenders. Also, his stats began piling up and definetely deserves to be there.
