I don't think it's any of their business, and it doesn't really matter. What do you think?!

True, it's none of their business. But you could say that about a lot of things, couldn't you? In my opinion, though, maybe you should be frank with your friends. Maybe not strangers, but if your friends aren't sure about something as basic as this, this could keep them at a distance from you. Do you want this?

You are who you are. In order for your friends to accept you for who you are, you need to tell them. A good way to answer might be something like, "My sexual orientation? I'm heterosexual. How about you? What's your orientation?" Or homosexual, if that's the case. Those who don't like the answer aren't your friends.

Hi, I'm guessing your probably in a younger Social group setting of some sort. Maybe High School? in which case the reason they ask is because in a Social setting such as that, they are very Cliquish and Humans of that age are generally involved in Social interaction with piers and therefore often explore each others place in the age demographic in order to see where each other fits. Or it could be that you exhibit personality traits that cause the others to be curious. Sexuality is very much a part of the youth of today weather its any of there business or not. it is a part of society and if you are a part of society then there will be a natural curiosity about you. Weather or not you choose to answer them is your choice.

People are nosy. Also, most of society feels an innate need to pigeonhole whatever they don't know, or understand. It could be that some are interested in dating you, and if they are specifically oriented, they wish to make sure you are as well. I think that you have a right to be upset, but as long as people remain ignorant, you should learn to cope with it, or you will probably snap on someone.

Got to agree with you on this one.
It's become Politically Correct to discuss ones' sexual preferences, which are no one elses' business.
If and when the question of whether to have sex with a person comes up, that's when you discuss 'Orientation'.
If I am not talking to a prospective lover, what do I care what they do in the bedroom?
Sex is personal.

People are curious, and the fact that they can't figure you out drives them nuts. I think it is rude for them to ask, but why not offer up the information at the right time? Once they know, there will be less tension, they will feel closer to you, and you will be less annoyed because you won't have to wonder if they're wondering!

You are right, it it's nobody else's business, unless they do want to get involved with you. Unfortunately, there are too many curious people who just can restrain themselves in their impuse for asking what is not their concern.

You have them guessing. Make it harder and use your last sentence; "What do you think?"
Laugh at ANY answer. Then, ask, "Any more Questions?" Repeat the response, if you liked the way it felt the first time.

Your right it's none of their business. We have a right to our own privacy. Tell them so.
