There's quite a large difference between knowing ABOUT something and experiencing that thing. You can know about LSD, but you won't KNOW LSD unless you've done it.

Make sure that you know absolutely eveything about first do not take it because your friends are it is a very powerful drug that effects last for a life time. Educate yourself as much as you can, Do it with someone who has experience, never trip alone , once you educate yourself you can make a choice . I knew the fundamental facts about the drug but I was not as prepared as I could have been . You will not be the same afterwards you have to decide if you want to open to what is unknown. I was a very innocent girl so I could interpret my experience from that just sit down think about what you have already experienced , if you suffer from mental illness stay away from acid it can cause manifest of symtoms that resemble schizophrenia but are not. LSD is synthetic there are mushrooms that produce similar effects but do not have poison in them. The most popular way to eat acid is paper but beware it can be laced with strychnine and makes your knees and spine hurt. Here are my recommondations: The Doors of Perception by Aldous Huxley , Tripping: an anthology of true-life psychedelic adventures by Charles Hayes there is a lot of good websites www.erowid.org,www.promind.com, www.maps.org

Unless you have tried LSD you DONT know about it. Only those who have gone there can truly know the strength of an LSD high. Perhaps they feel grown up talking about it or know someone who has done it but you can't really talk about it unless you have experienced the drug.

education. i always say, i smart man learns from his mistakes, while a wise man learns from the mistakes of others. it is possible for someone who has not taken it to know a lot more about lsd than someone who has. just as a doctor knows more about the medications he prescribes than his patients who take them. not a comparative judgement by any means, but, for an analogy, i've never commit a murder, but i feel qualified to judge that it is wrong.
