Type the name of the newpaper into your search engine, it should bring it up. Check to see if they have archives dating back that far. If not, you can go to your local library, they should have newspapers on microfilm. Good luck.

Some newspapers are online and have great archives going back years. Some don't. Try there first.

Go to your local library and ask them if they have newspaper archives.

Go to news agency or whatever local news station who reported it. They keep old stories in archive.
