If you ask technical questions to examine an expert, you are likely to be cheated. Better ask questions on topics familiar to you. You should change the language so that it appears polite to the teacher.
For example, 1) have you taught anyone known to me? 2) How many students did you tutor last year. How much did each of them improve in marks and rank in school. 3) How much and how quickly can my children improve by your teaching? 4) if my children do not improve by your teaching, will only I lose or will you also lose?

wll for an any interview you should be prepared yourself and know your subject - ok for example you are going to ask question on global warning - first i would thorough reseach my topic - for example - greenhouse effect, deforestation, fossil fuels and so on - then ask few open ended and closed ended questions.

1. ask about the G7 summit
2. what's your opinion on deforestation
3 how can we support and help those people who are displaced after deforestation
4 what if the oil runs out what can we replace it with
5 what percentage of the people are hungry cos of drought
6 how can be educate the children at school with regards of environmental issues

and so on
i hpe i have been helpful
do not forget to ask facts and figures - v important
