i have a big rack, that has some shoes on, all my boots are in my wardrobe, i have some shoes in the spare room, some are under my bed, i have an over the door shoe holder in my bedroom, the rest are wherever i took em off last
i have lots and lots of shoes
my trainers are on the balcony, as they ar a bit wiffy

My dress shoes are on a shoe rack in my room....my sneakers stay by the front door...my flip flops are next to my bed...*hate cold floors in the middle of the night*....& my kids throw theirs where ever they took them off at....& then I have to put them up...

Generally, on my bedroom floor. Ostensibly, on my shoe rack, in my closet. And yes, I organize by shoe type and how much I wear each pair.

Where ever I am when I decide to take them off. There a two pair in the bathroom, a pair next to the couch and a pair in my closet.
