The United States, mired for four years in the Iraq war, and no end in sight, has begun to look seriously at the problem of millions of Iraqis turned refugees by the fighting -- especially those who have collaborated with the Americans.
While the 2003 US invasion sparked most of the exodus, Washington has been accused of taking little interest in the two million Iraqi who have sought refuge abroad, as well as the 1.7 million people displaced inside the country.
With 50,000 people fleeing the country each month, the war has sparked the most serious refugee crisis in the Middle East since that of the Palestinians at the creation of Israel in 1948, according to the United States government. Since the USA Government is responsible for the refugees it is suggested that the Iraqi people come to the USA ( One to two million or more ) and settle in the USA and be given homes and jobs. Americans, according to Bush, will be happy to give up their jobs and become homeless.

My suggestion is that the Arabs should take them all in. I thought Muslims helped Muslims! Guess not, huh?
We didn't ask to come over there in the first place, but seeing that our hand was forced, we're not responsible for Iraqi refugees.
Secondly, the U.S. taxpayer has foot the bill, once again, to rebuild a country we invaded. Their infrastructure is better now than it was during Saddam Hussein. So why the refugees, if there are indeed any? Go home!
We've got enough illegal immigrants coming into the U.S., the last thing we need is more Muslims.

If we pull out before the government there can sustain itself, I'll bet there will be several times that number of refugees. The children are the ones that will suffer most.

That is the best idea I've heard in a very long time. And we in Australia should do the same. If we can spend so much on the war, why not do a civilian evacuation, offer them emergency housing, shelter, medical care etc, then let them go back when/if we ever get it back to liveable.
You should go into politics, and I'm not kidding.

HECK NO! That's nuts! And no, we don't need any more towelheads in our country than we already have (no offense to the non-terrorist people that wear towels on their heads, some of you guys are actually pretty cool.)
What's really bad though, is that our government has all these crazy breaks for these immigrants so they can come here, get educated for cheap, open up shops and stores, get HUGE tax breaks etc. and then WE AMERICANS, in our very OWN country have to pay for all of this crap using our hard-earned money.
In the meantime we have Amin Hadadd or whatever terrorist schmuc strapping a bomb to himself and blowing himself up, killing other helpless Americans in our own land where they live freely and rather luxiouriously (compared to the lifestyle of their homeland).
It's ludicrous!

Where did you get these numbers and read these statements? I have never heard President Bush say that Americans would be happy to give up their jobs and homes for fleeing Iraqis. You need to cite some reputable sources for this information. Honestly, it sounds like you either made it up or read it on a loony's website.

I think that's a great idea. For americans, what part of "you break it, you bought it" don't you understand. I'm not slurring americans either. I honestly believe that you guys have succesfully won Iraq fair and square through legitimate use of warfare. It belongs to you guys now. Not the kurd/iraqis.
You guys should add another star to your flag.

Yep, that would be fair - when you do something, you should be ready to face the results! And hopefully that teaches you a lesson.
P.S: C J, other Arabs aren't guilty for the situation of the Iraqi people!
