You'll usually go once a month until the last 10 weeks, then it will be every 2 weeks, and then when you get to about 36-37 weeks it will be every week. Take a look at this link: http://www.pregnancyweekly.com/caregivers/next_appointment1_8.htm
Just select which range of weeks you are in, e.g. week 1-8/2-9 etc. and it will tell you what kind of medical care to expect.
As far as when you get the ultrasound/sonogram pictures, it depends on the doctor, whether they do them in the office and how often, or whether you have to go somewhere else to get them done. As far as i know, most people only get one ultrasound done unless there are complications, or certain medical conditions in your family, and when you go depends on where you live and what your doctor normally practices (usually between 15 and 20 weeks i think though!!)

you go once a month until around 29 weeks...then you go every 2 weeks. Once you are around 34 weeks you go once a week...and if you are at your due date or beyond they can have you come in daily.
at the visits they check your weight, measure your belly (to make sure the baby is growing well), take urine sample, check blood pressure, listen to baby's heartbeat (after 12 weeks), and answer your questions.
usually an ultrasound is done at 20 weeks. Sometimes they do one right away if you are unsure of your last period date.
you should do ALL of the visits. Everyone thinks they will have a normal pregnancy but...that doesn't always happen. Prenatal visits are in place to catch anything wrong with YOU or your baby!
if you think you are pregnant or know you are....you can go to any pharmacy and buy prenatal vitamins. Buy some and start taking them ASAP.

Well, you tend to go to the doctor once a month to get a general overall checkup, and the doctor feels your tummy to check the progress of the baby, listens to the heartbeat, checks on your general health and weight.
Around month 5 of your pregnancy, you get a blood sugar test done - you drink this nasty tasting soda and you come back throughout the day to get your blood sugar tested. This is to see if you have gestational diabetes. This is important, because women with it have babies that get too big too fast inthe womb and can be born too early. gestational diabetes doesn;t happen to everyone, nor with every pregnancy even if you had it before. But we get the test.
Not everyone has an ultrasound - most women don't. So you may not get those "pictures" to take home. If you do, they do an ultrasound anywhere from month 3 to the end of your pregancy.
Monthly visits until month seven, they turnto every other week, and during the last month every week.
Around month 7, they take you on a tour of the hospital and you can start lamaze classes.
owever, that will be up to your doctor depending on your overall health and the progression of your pregnancy.

normally every 3 weeks in early pregnancy, about every 2 from 28-34 weeks, then weekly after that, when you have an appointment your dr/ midwife will arrange your next, They will want you to take a urine sample every appt to check for an infection and to check the sugar in your blood, just tio rule out complications. From 10 weeks they will let you hear the babys heartbeat. They may weigh you and check your blood pressure, From 28 weks they will measure the size of your bump.
You normally have an ultrasound scan at 8-12 weeks to date the pregnancy, how many heart beats. Then have another at 18-22 weeks, this can tell you the gender and if any problems have occured, hope this helps!

It depends I am guessing. I am a high risk pregnancy so I had to see 2 different dr.s once every 2 weeks and now once a week. I didn't get pics until I was about 4 months but I am sure it varies in every pregnancy. Congrats!

First 8 months you'll go once a month. Last month you may go in twice a month. If you're overdue like I was, you go once a week.
They just measure your belly and weigh you. Probaby do a sonogram every month- thats when you get the picture to take home.
