Two nights ago, myself and two girlfriends were driving home from a club. Suddenly this male pulled up beside us at a redlight, with nothing on his upper body except a black bra. He smiled and drove beside us for a few blocks and then turned. My Question is: at the time we found this amusing (he was cute...lol) and harmless. But as we drove further we second guessed ourselves. Should we have yelled at him or tried to get his license number for the cops? And further more, was he really breaking any laws? I mean it sounds stupid at first, but I don't know if there is a law that prevents men from wearing a bra. If we are wrong on the legal issue than maybe others will benefit from your responses.

No, if your first reaction was to think it was funny why on earth would you try to convince yourself to be offended? It's not illegal. Men can flash their bare chests not to mention partially covered chests. You thought it was funny and it didn't hurt you. LAUGH.

I have seen worse on guys... You don't live near San Fran without seeing things that require bleach and a wire brush to scrape off the first several layers of optic nerve.

a sixty year old male prostitute in a thong comes to mind *shudder*.

honestly if he was just flashing you in a bra its nothing to pitch a fit over.

Depending on where you live the may be a law, but honestly No cop is going to ticket the guy unless there was something more going on with him... maybe if it didn't match the bottoms or was a tacky design, but few cops would be that ready to investigate that.

That is pretty funny, and I imagine that was the guy's intention. He was probably bored, and looking to see your reaction. He could have been a cross dresser too, but they are usually harmless. There are no laws against a man wearing women's clothing. Since he didn't follow you home or do anything creepy, I don't see what you are worried about. The cops would have done nothing about it if you called, except laugh and share the story with their pals.

Not illegal. I think the last of those old cross-dresser laws bit the dust in the early seventies.
If he had been dangerous, he probably wouldn't have been so conspicuous. Your first reaction is what he was going for.

No there is no law anymore. Unless you could see his other parts.
Then there would be a reason to call the police. This would not be considered flashing. Just weird.

Depending on your local laws, it could be considered indecent exposure. Likely though, there was nothing illegal. Just enjoy the laugh you got out of it.

Haven't you ever seen a man in a bra on TV or in movies? Unless he had implants, it is definitely not illegal.
