Depends on the router.
The best way to find out is by opening a command window (START, RUN, type CMD and click OK) then type "ipconfig"

Whatever shows up as the Default Gateway will be your routers IP address..\

Linksys routers default to a 192.168.1.1 ip address. This is a fact. However, it is possible and very easy to change that ip address. The only way to verify the router ip address is to look up the default gateway.

To do this: click Start>RUN, type "command", type "ipconfig".

Look at the default gateway. If you can't seem to bring it up, then reset the router.

To do this: with a pin or paper clip, locate the little hole in the back of the router and push it in for 15-20 seconds.

This will set the router back to the default settings. All of this of course will work assuming you are connected to the router via ethernet or wireless.

If you will reconfigure your router try resetting it first by pushing the reset pinhole at the back of the router for 10 secs. You can use a pen to push through the pinhole. You need to temporarily assign a static IP on your computer if you don't know how to do this then follow this steps...

1. Right click on "My Network Places", then choose properties. Network connection window will appear, then
2. Right click "Local Area Connection" where your router is plugged in, choose properties.
3. Now Local Area Connection Properties will open. Click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)", then click "Properties" button.
4. Click the radio button "Use the following IP address",
5. in the "IP address field" type 192.168.1.2, then click on "Subnet mask field" it will supply the following subnet (255.255.255.0) leave every thing else blank then click "OK", then "OK" again for the "Local Area Connection Properties".
6. Now try to type in 192.168.1.1 on your browser. That should take you to Linksys web configuration page. The default login is username: admin, password: admin

Hope This helps :)

yes, both 192.168.10.1 and also 192.168.0.1 are very common for any routers. just make sure you know the login!

192.168.1.1 - assuming it's default and you have an IP starting with 192.168.1.

192.168.10.1 is also a very common default. Both are non-routable.
