Me, followed by the guy who makes my coffees! Then perhaps Bob Brown (leader of the Greens). The most charismatic Aussie, IMO, is Jeff Kennett.
The most inspirational Aussie was that kind gentleman (I feel terrible that I forget his name) who used to go to 3rd world countries to perform cataract operations on people who couldn't see and established clinics so his work could continue.
I'm having a hard time thinking of any Aussies doing much for the good of mankind at the moment, but sure hope some answers here remind me of some others.
Added...I've been reminded of one, Steve Irwin...and of course his family. Animal conservation is what they live for and that's fantastic.
