It doesn't seem to be related to any manga, but maybe you can ask the person who posted it (if it is possible)?

i imagine yet another respondant already coated it, yet I basically needed to characteristic 2 tidbits: a million. regardless of the type of anime departing from image-realism, even anime artists first learn the human form from existence; those (like me) who can not feasibly discover the money for existence drawing training can a minimum of reference images. you'll discover your answer from both. 2. If what you're fairly getting at isn't the colour of the students yet the position to placed highlights, properly, that is going again to existence learn: each and every scene has a minimum of one gentle source (in the different case, all will be black/darkish) and products/contours closest to the gentle are brighter lit or (when it comes to eyes because of their glassy floor), highlighted. besides the undeniable fact that, anime artists (to effect diverse thoughts) do exaggerate those highlights, so it may boil right down to a subjective, imaginitive decision, yet a minimum of your gentle source is an effective handbook first of all.
