my theatre class is going to see it but the tickets are like 180$ pluse we are supposed to go to an expensive returant for dinner and i was wouldering if it is worth it??

Broadway tickets for any show shouldn't cost that much, especially for a group. I did see "Wicked", it was great! In NY they have a lottery system for $25 for front row tickets. Many people get chosen. However, the $25 is not refundable. Only you know your finances and if any show is worth $180 + dinner. I do have to say I enjoyed it very much. When you are actually watching the show you forget how much you paid and you are engrossed in the performance. If you can still pay your rent and eat for the next month... I say go for it! You only live once!

In a word: No. It's a pretty mediocre show, and is certainly not worth that kind of money. By the way, if someone is asking for $180 per ticket, it's a serious ripoff, as the top ticket at the box office is "only" $110. Save your money and do student rush at a well-written and -performed show.

No! Save your money and go see something else.
May I suggest Avenue Q, Les Miserable (if you can get the tickets), or the Lion King. They're much better than Wicked and cost a lot less!

It is deffentaly worth it. I saw it yesterday for my Mom's birthday. It gave me a whole new prespectave on The Wizard of OZ. The 'Wicked' Witch of the West dosn't seem so wicked. And I will never look at the Wizard the same way again. You should deffentaly see it.

I am a college male student I thought the show was fantastic (my gf loved it a lot too!). It is great and if you have the chance, you should go see it. You will have the songs stuck in you head for days.

I went with my drama group and paid about £70, it was good in terms of great sets and costumes but i don't think it lives up to the hype

yes wicked is wicked awesome no matter how much it costs you should really try it i guarntee you will like it if you like comedy/musicals the songs are hillarious!!! Try it. it might open up a whole new path for you!
