theres very little normal, its up to the two people involved .
Say 3+ times a week in the first year , to a couple times a month or less when you are much older.
Expect times where the wife doesnt want any for a while , like with a new baby.
It can put enormous stress on a relationship if the two people want different amounts.

Like most people have said, it really varies on each couple. A young couple with no kids and similar work schedules will probably have sex 2 or 3 times a week on average. Older couples whose kids have left the house also will average high expecially at first. Now couples like my wife and I that have two teenagers in the house and work opposite schedules will average about three times a month, four if we can sneak in a quickie. The good news is, that hopefully by the time the kids come along your relationship has evolved past the lustful stage and that you find you don't have to have sex with each other to have a good time, although it does help. LOL

It depends on how long you have been married. In the beginning it will be any where between 2 to 5 times a week, but after the first child it get to be less and less as more children are born. You will not have the time you had in the beginning. After menopause it may be more often, because you know you will not have more children. But with the "pill" it is safe to do it as often as you want.

I think it's totally up to the two people involved. I feel that people who slow way down when it comes to love making, may have made the wrong choice in a partner. It's something I want to be a very important aspect in my life should I get married again. So my best advice, chose wisely!

I've been married for 11 years. I can't speak for other couples, of cours it's going to vary. At times, it's been like once every other month, at other times, it's every day. It all depends on what's going on in life at the time. By the way, sex gets way better the older you get and the more you know a person.

Well my wife and I have been married coming up on 16 years now and I must say that I consider myself damn lucky! Our average is about once a day, even though we both work and have two children we always make time for each other.

Once a week in this household due to being busy with other stuff but I remember an Oprah show that said 3 to 4 times a week.

In marriage i don't think there is a normal, to some people two or three times a day would be normal[ i should be so lucky] to others two or three times a month would be normal. just go with what makes you happy.
