Depends on what matrix you want. A matrix is a grid or graph. I have even seen the word graphtitude used when trying to explain one.
Matrix is a set of known or un-kown causes and effects that form a linear or beyond linear sets of variables. It can be as simple or as complex as the mind cannot yet imagine.
