At first I was shocked -- but now I say who cares. Did you know:

1. No country gives more money to poor countries every year?
2. No country accepts more of the worlds unwated poor immigrants?
3. No country has freed more people from tyranny -- including WWI, WWII, South Korea, East Europe, Afganistan, and now trying in iraq.
4. We have the power to take what we want but we dont. We want out of iraq, not in.
5. We are the first to provide disaster aid.
6. We gladly share our the worlds best universities with the worlds students.
7. We gladly let other countries join us in space.
8. We sholder the burden of the defense of most of the world -- including europe, the pacific rim, and much of the americas.
9. We provide the most food aid for africa.
10. no country spends more on AIDS research.

on and on. do you understand this? oh, right you hate the USA 'cuz we're trying to bring democracy to Iraq. right?

I agree with you 100% I was born and raised here in America and I love my country. I have been to several other country's including Africa. I know what it's like out there, and if half the people in this country knew what life is like for people not born here in America, there wouldn't be activist groups trying to tell us that we are racists and don't know what we are talking about. As far as I am concerned, it is our God given duty to help other people in other nations who ask us for help. And in the Iraq case, it is also our job to defend not only our self's, but the Innocent people who want to be free of tyranny.

that a boy, I agree with you. The problem is the world has depended on our abilities for so long. This is a weird example but I couldn't sleep and I have been up alnight spewing truth,We are the good parents that children hate, because we want what is best. We are not perfect but we try, and we need to let junior go on his own. We withdraw from all the world conflicts LIKE George Washington said so long ago, Beware of meddling in foreign conflicts and squabbles for it will be our doom, or something like that, it was old english. We need to withdraw and I bet the world ends up in another world war.

China and India are doing a pretty good job polluting and using resources, oh and by the way utopia could be here if we all voted wisely and picked the best guy whether or not he is our party or not.

I don't hate america.

I dislike a president who betrays my trust with lies
I detest illegal wars.
I loathe watching my childs freedoms being taken away.
I protest not having reasonable questions answered by the elected government.
I resent people who involve themselves only in self interest.
I dissent against the destruction of the constitution of this great land.
I Ponder people who refuse to stand up for the liberty lost.
I reject the idea of further decay on the bases of preceived advancement
And most of all I wonder why people who love america so much, and even make a list would not understand the amount of decay and corruption this country has fallen into?

Why do people say I fought for freedom? I came back to less freedom then when I Left?

I don't hate america, I hate what america has become.

If we were really trying to put democracy in Iraq it would have been done by now, I assure you. The new Iraqi governement does not want americans there? as new democracy shouldn't we respect their wishes?

I have found those who support the war always talk about dying as a necessary evil. There were no compassion for those who were displaced or killed by the war.

To start a war based on one person and results in tens of thousands being killed and millions being displaced and a country in turmoil, not to mention the financial burden on the US and destruction to Iraq, is in no way justified.

If oil was not the issue but freeing a nation is, then why isn't America invading N. Korea yet? And what about Iran for that matter?

Given a choice between the Iraq then and the Iraq now, which one would you rather live? You must choose either one. That way it is a fairer comparison.

Do you know why the World hates us? It is because of the arrogance and the one sided thinking many Americans in politics have. It is similar to: why won't you marry her, she is so perfect? Could it be because you just don't like her regardless of her perfection?

1. As the richest nation in the world, America has the duty to help. There is always a benefit when a nation donates money. Remember we used to support Saddam?

2. Do you know who made America the most powerful? The immigrants. Einstein invented the Atomic bomb.

3.You forgot to mention Vietnam...I wonder why? America fought Japan because of Pearl Harbor, saving China was just a neccesary outcome.

4. After making a mess, Bush wished he had never gone in. As far as terrorism is concerned, there had been no link found between Iraq and al-Qaeda. It was a war between two people - the hungry Texas oil man and a tyrant. No one seems to mention no WMD found. Like father like son, remember his father's famous saying? "Read my lips, no new taxes!!!"

5. People were still crying for the lack of aid to the Katrina victims.

6.The universities that accept foreigners benefitted because of new ideas and different points of view, not to mention being financially rewarded. Besides, those who stayed afterwards contributed to the well being of America. For those who left, they help spread the American ideology.

7. When was the last time America owned Space?

8. We are there to police the world. If we don't like someone, we invade.

10. Companies do AIDS research because of the financial rewards. Besides we are the first country that started AIDS. You haven't seen any Government subsidies for SARS research, or have you?

As for the Iraqi people, they would much rather live in the previous Iraq than the Iraq right now. You won't?

As for the war was started based on one person, that person was Saddam. Bush seemed to have a personal grudge against the man. Just before the war started, Bush said if Saddam left Iraq, there would be no invasion. So is that based on just one person or not?

Do you know who is financing America? If both Japan and China stopped buying our treasury bills and demanded payment for what was bought, America will be on its knees.

If every time America hates someone and wants to nuke 'em, this world as we see it will disintigrate. Just imagine if Russia and the rest of the world did not have nuclear weapons, America would be the super bully of the world. In high school we were taught we could not fight no matter whose fault it was. We are certainly learning a different lesson from the people at the top.

Everyone seem to blame 9-11 for what has happened, but try stepping back and ask yourself why was there a 9-11 in the first place? Could it be because America was unfairly taking other nations' resources that resulted in the hatred for America?

The fact that Bush bypassed the UN and invaded Iraq shows you the arrogance of America and how disregard of human life he was. Bush timed the war with his re-election. Making the world suffer for one person's gain and you call that a just cause?

Right now it is the Iraqis who are killing the Iraqis, however if not for the war, would they be doing that?

Yes - I understood this before you pointed it out. I too do not understand some of the bad sentiments and hatred that is directed at the US.

Perhaps we should do less and leave people to handle their own problems except in cases of disaster. After all, if we (the US) try to help it only seems to make others have more resentment towards us.

I like that analogy.
America takes 1 dollar and gives back 10 cents and they say that is a good thing.

Who pollutes the most?
Who uses the most resources?
Guess who?
