how to use a gmail account on windows live messenger?

I have a gmail acount and i want to log in with it into windows live messenger, how do i do so?

I assume you mean Google Talk. I see that Windows Live Messenger can chat with MSN or Yahoo, but not GTalk. http://get.live.com/messenger/features
