Do you think downloading music, not for profit, is really a big deal?
I don't think so. What do you think. Downloading like on limewire.

it is awesome... not a crime, shouldn't be punishable...

Heck, one little download won't hurt any body. Now, I'm off to McDonald's to order a cup of water, then fill it with some Big Orange.

Just kidding, lol. If they were worried (not that they aren't) enough about it, they would combine some of their many BILLIONS of dollars and make a few more attempts at some better class action lawsuits.

Besides, who can say that the price of a CD wasn't beginning to skyrocket before this file transferring system became popular?

downloading on limewire is just a more effective way of sharing music with others. If you give a friend a CD after your done with it, is that stealing?

I don't think downloding or copying music should be a crime. Especially if it is for your own private use.

But if you go copying/downloading it then selling it too your friends then that is a crime.

But if it is wrong to do it, why do so many companies give you the opportunity to do it?

Isn't that like punishing the horse for running away, and not the person who left the gate open in the first place?

i admit i do it...and i know that it's probably bad for the industry and all that high road stuff...but if only they would sell music cds really cheaply then maybe i could afford to buy the original and stop using limewire...

I think its really screwed up, but I do it sometimes anyway...but nothing beats a real CD though. Limewire has nothing on the real thing. but for one song its cool.

i don't think so. the only ppl who get screwed r the ones who r already ballin'. i look at it like this: i've owned many a cd & i never liked every single track. i figure every song i download is making up for those tracks i disliked. ; )
