We have stayed (in the RV) at the
Hi Ho Campground
200 W. Bear Creek
Glenn Heights,
It is just south of downtown Dallas.
Very pleasant and well equipped park.
Camping is permitted there also.

Try Reserve America (link below). I go camping as often as I can, and find many new campgrounds on their site. Have fun!!!
