I think it's all up to personal choice, and also depending on the particular thing you want. As well as your budget!
Loreal, Maybelline & MAC are all have great products.
Maybelline is very affordable and really good quality, by far my favourite.

Body Shop or nutrimetics because the have no animal testing.
also for great quality and skin friendly make up you should try mineral cosmetics. the benefit is that they are actually good for your skin as well as being very nice looking and environmentally friendly. Larenim and Jane Iredale are two of the better brands.

christian dior is the best brand, It's $50 just for a compact of makeup becuase it's high quality.

It really depends on your skin type and complexion. I have found that maybelline works wonders even though it is one of the less expensive brands.

It truly depends on the price--
If you want somthing expensive go bear essentials
If you want somthing cheap go Revlon or Avon
If you dont care about price buy all diffrent kinds and see which u like best!! [rich ppl]!!!! LOL!

go and first buy paulas choise in make book she has all the answers for u on make thats what i did and i have saved alot f my plus i have not demaged my skin by using all differernt produts u can go wrong take me up on this
