How much does the AFL coverage suck that some teams have all thier matches free to air and some have none?

i agree totally,what a joke the AFL get richer the melbourne clubs get poorer and we the public/supporters get shafted-unless you barrack for collingwood the greatest t.v deal in history maybe but not for us.

Collingwood, like em or not are the turnstile champions. They are the ONLY club in the competion that can achieve this and its because people that dont follow them "continually" BAG em. The people getting a shitter deal as you say, are the same people who make the Magpies FAMOUS, they enhance the BRAND, carrying on about COLLIWOBBLES, day in day out and that is the Mystique of the Collingwood Football Club. While they are hated more than any other club, at the same time, Collingwood supporters are the most loyal, and its these people , the bums on the seats , so to speak, who actually have every right and should be asking your Question, WHAT'S WRONG WITH A BIT OF FAIRNESS ? Unfortunately for those who hate the Magpies, the damage is done,ya cant bag em then want fairness !! COLLINGWOOD can never be beaten, they are the AFL No 1 product and that will never change, because nothing will EVER be invented to "capture" the market like COLLIWOBBLES, so stop whinging.

I am sorry, I have foxtel and I am fine with the coverage this year but I am very surprised by the person who answered sayin "COLLINGWOOD can never be beaten, they are the AFL No 1 product and that will never change"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA obviously this person just enjoys wearing black and white for the fashion sense because to say they can never be beaten??? He obviously does not watch the games and if he is talking about the support the team has, well, there are alot of people out there who love a lost cause...

For someone living in Sydney who doesn't follow the Swans this deal is a vast improvement on what we had before. Apart from one live game Saturday and Sunday any other game (apart from a Swans home match) was broadcast anywhere from midnight to 5am. Rugby League had pride of place on 9 and some crappy American shows on 10. With games being played in the same timeslot the AFL and it's broadcasters are never going to please everyone.
Also, the AFL has paid money for the Foxtel games, they haven'e been paid more. The games had to be bought back from 7 & 10.
If you are in Melbourne why don't you go to the game and support your team? If they get bigger crowds the AFL will have to stand up and take notice. If not you can use the money you would of spent on tickets to get Foxtel and your problems will be solved.

You can blame the AFL all you want but it wasn't them who sold on the rights to foxtel that was 7 & 10. The AFL put it in place that every game had to be screened but those channels refused to do so. I have to say it doesn't bother me because I have foxtel and truth be told collingwood probably wont get the lion share of coverage on free to air coverage as their president id the head of channel 9 the one channel that doesn't have rights.

I do think it's a bit unfair especially for people who can't afford Foxtel (like me), but I'm not complaining as my team has all their games free to air. Go Lions!!!!!!

properly all of us paid for activities programs on sky to get sport! Then the grasping pigs delivered in additional beneficial channels for that you had to pay more beneficial - very stressful!, we've now Setanta. no one needs to enroll in setanta or pay for more beneficial channels as we already pay a fortune for Sky activities.that were defined because the completed activities equipment. i imagine the video games must be split between Terrestrial television and the sky activities channels. it is in trouble-free terms honest and it is what we paid for. at the moment we are all watching stay streaming of the video games - why the hell would we prefer to pay again - its no longer honest.
