I watched " In America " for the second time tonight . Just as with the first viewing , it assailed my emotions .
There is an approximately fifteen minute portion of this film beginning with Christy and Ariels introduction to Mateo , on to thier fathers confrontation with Mateo , and culminating with Christy singing Desperado on her school stage , that exhausts the viewers peace of mind .
Samantha Morton and Djimon Hounsou are incredible in this film . Ive rarely seen an actor convey hurt and raw emotion as well as these two , in this film .

I used to love the movie The Joy Luck Club and watched it regularly as a feel good uplifting sort of movie. Then my mother past away. About a year later I was watching the movie and the end scene where the daughter meets her twin sisters and tries to explain to them that their mother is dead just sent me over the edge. I was crying for hours. Sometimes a scene in a movie can touch your pain in such a way that you just burst the floodgates of emotions. I have not been able to watch the movie since then. My husband can not watch Awakenings either since he does not like to cry.

The one I couldn't copy :(
Seriously, I will never forget Schindler's list.
It was so noisy as we (husband & I) apoarched the doors in to the threater there were crowds of all ages waiting to go into show room. I was thinking, "Oh great we won't be able to hear or even get in to this movie!"
But you know as so a movie started, you could hear a pin drop, then when leaving the lights came on, everyone got up to leave.
Omg most were crying, I look over at my husband, tears rolling down his face as well as mine.
And you know that show has always played over, over in my mind.
I've see lots since after that a shed a tear or two BUT never like Schindlers list.

I know you might think I'm a wuss but it had to be "Charlotte's Web". I remember reading the story as a child crying and when I took my son to see it at the movies, I was crying again. It involves the scene with Charlotte ( I am not going to reveal which scene in case, someone hasn't seen it but it was after the fair hint:) I could not stop the tears from flowing and had to turn from my son so he would not see me crying. I am very soft at heart.
