I am having a lot of lower back pain and feel out of breath. I don't have any energy at all. I know the baby is getting bigger as I am further along in the pregnancy now, I have gained 15 pounds now. The pain in my back is mostly on the lower right side...has anyone else had these symptoms while 27 wks pregnant? Is this normal? I go back to the doctor on Feb 19....I am wondering if I should call him before then?

I'm 25 weeks and have lots of back pain. Mine is worse on the right side as well, and I also have pain in my right hip joint and down my leg. My doctor said it is normal and could be Sciatic related pain.

I figured you were almost 7 months pregnant... Is this your first child?

I know when I had my first baby, (long time ago) that I would get really bad shooting pains down the back of my legs in the 7 and 8th month that would bring me to my knees. It was awful. My doctor told me the baby was pressing up against my spine.

I never had the symptoms you described but, each pregnancy is different. I would call the doctor before Feb. 19th. There is nothing wrong with calling your doctor if you are concerned. I do remember getting out of breath.

Good Luck

the out of breath is completely normal. I can't even make my bed and get dressed without puffing, tyring to get my breathe The back pain, I don't know.. is it like labour (back labour) or just cramps? 15 pounds is not much. I gained alot more at that stage with both. I think you are fine.. but call if you need to rest your mind

Absolutely normal had the same back pains but on the left hand side.
You should have a check up as well just to be on the safe side though just for your own peace of mind.
best of luck.

Yes, this can be normal sometimes, As the baby gets bigger some times they position them-self near the hip area, throwing your back of f balance, Since you cannot take OTC meds while pregnant, ask your doctor for a referral to a chiropractor to have your back realigned, IT worked for me. GOOD LUCK.

Yes it is common. Some women vomit every morning, or throughout the day until the day they give birth. But, it might not be "normal" for you. Please check with your pre-natal care provider, to make sure you and baby are getting enough nutrients despite the vomiting.
