Leave it alone.
It will eventually go away.
If it's in your bath, then put a towel over the side of the bath and make sure it sits on the bottom of the bath as well. The spider will crawl its way out eventually.
If you're worried about it happening again, always leave a towel over the side of your bath.
There's nothing wrong with spiders.
They are out to get insects, not you.
They are actually things of beauty when you understand why they are there.
I don't mean to alarm you, but you have at least 20 spiders living in every room of your house.
They're very good at hiding.

Yea, I do it all the time because there's spiders in the bathroom and hairspray is usually the closest chemical. If you spray em for like 2 minutes they won't go anywhere, and if you have a lighter handy...

From a person who have done it many times (because like you that's all I've had as well).

Yes, BUT you have to spray them A LOT. and you have to sit there and wait to spray them repeatedly. They "act" dead and when some time has passed, they move on. The only way you know it's dead is when it starts to shrivel up. Nasty and completely disgusting I know.
