This isn't dandruff. It's cradle cap, it's very common and normal for her age and no do not use Pantene on your babies hair. Use baby shampoo and use a brush while the shampoo is in her hair. Brush in tiny circles softly. Make sure you brush her hair everyday.
You might notice the same condition around your baby's ears or eyebrows, or even in his armpits and other creases. When it's not on his scalp, it's called seborrheic dermatitis. It's harmless. Most often it shows up in the first few months of life, and it usually clears up on its own in about six to 12 months — although some babies have it for several years.

Dandruff also spreads from other persons thru air.. so keep urself clean and cleanse the pillow covers frequently.. Using albumen of egg is good.. but i dont know whether it is recommended for children.. U can use herbal items like hibiscus(but it is so cool),

That is totally unnecessary and would probably dry her scalp out even more. It probably isn't dandruff either, but cradle cap which is a very common condition for young babies. It will look like dry scaly skin and often will be flaky. A great way to treat it is to apply an edible oil like olive, almond or apricot and massage it into the skin. You can then gently comb your babies hair and slough off some of the scales. Alternatively you can just leave it alone. As your babies skin matures this condition will probably resolve itself.

Please DO NOT USE DANDRUFF SHAMPOO ON YOUR BABY...she probably just has cradle cap. When you wash her hair, don't be afraid to scrub her scalp thoroughly, but not TOO hard with your nails. Or you can use a soft bristle brush. I actually bought a cat grooming soft bristle brush for my daughter. When I brush her hair with it, she smiles and seems to really enjoy it. Also make sure you completely rinse her hair after washing. After the bath, while the scalp is still wet, you can continue to massage it in a circular motion with the bristle brush. The moisture will loosen the dead skin cells and make it easier to rid her scalp of the flakes. After a few washings you should be able to see a great impovement.

No, do no longer use any grownup hair product. wash her hair another day instead of every day - dandruff is led to, for a new child of that age, via dry scalp. If her scalp seems crusty, besides the undeniable fact that, what she has is named cradle cap. To do away with this, positioned infant oil on her head and rub down all of it the way down to her scalp and permit it sit down for a rapid mutually as, least confusing if she's already interior the tub. The utilising an invaluable comb, comb the stuff off of her scalp andout of her hair. The wash her hair as favourite.. the infant oil facilitates soften and unfasten the cradle cap.

It's probably cradle cap. Check the baby section and look for baby shampoo for cradle cap. If unable to find something please take the baby to your peditrician. My hubby and I used baby oil and lotions. Also I recommend a gentle massage with your child a couple times a day. Using a baby hair brush might also help to remove loose "dandruff".

NO! never, Try combing it out with Baby oil, washing it off with baby shampoo only. Try to get a fine very fine comb, like the ones people use to kill lice, rub her head with baby oil and comb it out. If this does not help contact your pediatrician. Its most likely just dry scalp, not actual dandruff. They usually out grow this by their 3-4 months.
Do it atleast 2 times a week and be careful you dont do it to hard.

Please read the instructions given by the manufacturer before using the shampoo on the newly born baby. Generally shampoos contain chemicals which may cause harm to the tiny child. Always take advice of a paediatrician before using any such new thing on the new Born baby.

No, it is much better going with something VERY mild for a baby that young. Use Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo, because Pantene Pro-V is much too much harsh for a baby's skin/scalp.

Your new baby has what is called cradle cap. It is dry loose skin and you just need to use baby oil on the scalp. Do not us any adult dandruff shampoo on a baby.
