If I end up liking both either way, then, both.

Both. But the real clincher for me to like a song is the lyrics. Like there's a new song and it says "a woman is a warm breath on the back of your neck, and a warm belly pressed against yours". I don't know why, but I really like that line, thus, I really like the song.
Did I just say "thus?"

I usually have to hear a song a few times before I start liking it. I'm listening to "The Way We Were" right now. "Meeeemories, like the corners of my mind". Damn, I could sing that song better than Babs.
