They are both decent games, but as Red Octane makes more games they will probably get better and better as they come. From what I have seen they listen to people on forums with suggestions for new games and implement some of the good ones. So Guitar Hero is a decent choice, if nothing else than for the song selections. But Guitar Hero 2 adds a few new twists with the ability to play Bass, Rhythm or lead in Co-op. If they keep listening to us peeps on the forums it will be very exciting to see what comes out in the future games, as there are a lot of very good ideas for later games that would make it even more fun and interesting than it is now.
