please help?

there is this girl and i told her i like her then about 3 weeks later she told me that she liked me and i promised her before i would never hurt her and i would protect her but now i don't like her like that anymore and she is just my best friend.

what do I do?

Better you tell her the truth now! Tell her that you want to protect her as a friend, and you consider her as your bestfriend. I think she'll accept your decision if she really cares for you.
