I was a little too young to remember but when my uncle was cremated the wind was blowing from the crematorium towards the church and everyone still goes on about how they could smell cooked pork.

I remember going to a funeral of a woman who was a family friend, and one of the undertaker's mobiles went off, he searched around in his pockets for it, but couldn't find it, 10 minutes later, it rings again and the mobile phone was then found in the coffin. How it got there, I had no idea!

I had a friend who's young son was killed in an accident. When it was time to wheel the casket out into the hearse the mother flung herself onto the casket in hysterical tears. It was so sad. I hope that I never have to attend another funeral for a child.

I was late getting there, escorted to a seat at the back of the Church, listened to the whole service, then as the viewing started.
got in the line, as I approached the casket, realized I did not even know this person, I was in the wrong Church. Paid my respects and quietly slipped out.

I went to one of my friends grandfathers funerals, and they had the dead guy sitting in one of the chairs in the church. It was really really weird.
