What about it? It's -15 y - 39.

But if it's meant to equal zero, then

-15 y - 39 = 0, so 15 y = - 39, therefore

y = - 13 / 5.

CHECK: - 15 y = - 15 (- 13 / 5) = + 3 (13) = 39, so -15 y - 39 = 0.

Live long and prosper.

distribute the numbers: -9y-63-6y+24
combine like terms: -15y-39. that is ur final answer because there are no more like terms. remember, a negative times a negative is a positive, a negative times a positive is a negative, and a positive times a positive is positive. hopefully this helps!
