My older sister hates to let her husband drive the car if they go anywhere together, she has to be the one who drives.

I bet your sister hates to fly as well...its a control issue.... she would rather hold her life in her own hands than have some else do it....Im the same way..

Yes, I get very nervous. I was in a bad car accident, so I sometimes feel like I have no controll if I am not driving. Even if the person is a good driver, I get scared. I think it is an unrational fear of mine, because really, if somone hit our car, it wouldnt matter who was driving. It is just residual fear left from the accident, and probably me being a btitof a controll freak! :0) I usually just try to relax, and I do let others drive, but I also turn into a backseat driver. I have just learned to try to joke about it.

Sometimes if it's my car and I think the person driving is a bad driver. Usually if I'm just riding in a car with someone else, then I dont mind.

I get very nervous if I'm not the person that's driving the car. I was in a bad car accident back in December...I wasn't the one that was driving. So whenever someone is driving and doesn't brake as quickly as I think they should...I get very nervous and think we're going to crash.
I hope one day I will overcome this...

Yes, because if I'm not driving, I don't have control over anything. And sometimes there's things I swear my husband does not see. (he does of course but I just don't think he does.)
And I always think someone will pull out in front of HIM, but they wouldn't do that if I was driving. Doesn't make any sense, does it?

No well it depends on who the driver is. I do get nervous of how my husband can drive at times. I rode with my brother in law once and it scared me to death for how he would ride people's a** and how he drove so fast.

I met a guy this weekend that i chatted with for over a year, i picked him up at the airport and he rented a car and drove about a mile when i told him to get out of the driver's seat and I will drive.
he didn't look at the road while talking with me !
he jerked around like seizures with his nervous disorder.
OMG ! I was terrified and drove him back to airport. byebye
