Trouble with a freind and love?

Well.I have a trouble.I'm bi and i had a friend that was really nice and sweet and i told him about me and i liked to have a friend that accepted me.I began to hang out with him but he told me something.He told me that he was bi.I was okay with it but soon enough he told me that he liked my type of ethnics then enough i began to get feelings for him.He began to like me and the same way around but it didn't last long.He soon enough texted me and told me that he wasn't that way and that he couldn't be with me.I was mad at first but got over it.We talked later on and he told me that to forget about it and we can be friends with benefits.I asked him but he kept avoiding the question.He told me that he didn't k .I have no idea what he thinks about me.I told him that he loved me and that he did too before the text message.I'm not sure what to think.I think i might still like him.Can u give me some advice?

What i asked was,that if the thing he told me before about being in love with me and stuff true?

Sorry i meant instead of forget about it i meant to forgive him but that he was still straight.

it was true when he said it, but unfortunately, feelings change by the hour when you are young. Horny guys love others very easily. Satisfied guys go about their business and forget all about the feelings they had 10 minutes ago. Leave it at that, drop the love stuff, it ain't gonna happen with this one, but keep the benefits if they were good. Otherwise, be friends and move on with all your life. Good luck
