Motor Ace, Incubus, 3 doors down, Grinspoon, Blink 182, Good Charlotte and Weezer were pretty popular around then, Nickleback was new to the heavier rock scene, as well......i couldnt think of most of the songs to save my life, but i know Motor Ace did " Carry On" and " Criminal Past", around the same time Blink 182 did " Whats my age again " and " Adams Song "

I think the Foo Fighter's album One by One came out in '02, and that has some great songs on it, particularly Times Like These and Halo. It might have been '03, I can't remember.
The Strokes album Is This It. Although they're more rock n roll than hard rock...
