suggest to make Mexico the 51st one year ago
everyone believe me I'm crazy but I think is the best
way to solve the illegal immigration problems
maybe I'm the only one
to look too much far away in the future
go figure it out
however I strongly believe our government they should consider
the 51st state a good alternative is much much better to spend
tons of money for a stupid walls that is a fact

Why not let Mexico become the 51st state? Well for starters, there isn't any support in Mexico for your proposal. Second there isn't any support in the United States for your proposal. It makes little sense, and would create far more problems than your suggestion would solve.

Why stop with Mexico...go take Canada too that way Alaska won't feel so left out. The North American United States sounds good. Heck throw in Puerto Rico too since they are almost part of the U.S. get rid of the 50 stars and make one huge star.

No point , and to intergrate Mexico would take decades of investment and money. Intergrating Canada would take 2 years, but be mostly adminstrative consolidation. Mexico, its more than just changing adminstrative, and local functions. Its the whole Mexican system of goverment, but the way to stop immigration readjust immigration system to reduce the pressure on the border that though reform of the system.

50 is a nice even number... besides the amount of crime, corruption and drug violence would make it a horribly expensive "state" to acquire.
Yes, illegal immigration IS a problem that really has no one simple answer. We have to remember that our forefathers were immigrants and the original forefathers were "illegal immigrants" when you consider that Peter Minuet acquired Manhattan Island for the equivalent of $20 in beads and trinkets. I acknowledge that many families are fleing tough economic times in their homeland, looking to fulfill their own "American Dream" and just survive.... yes, it impacts the rest of us when they come here illegally and use our system, we need a better way.

How about a group of ex-special forces operatives heading to Mexico and overthrowing the corrupt Mexican regime and establishing a government whereby the citizens would want to stay and build something better rather than move away from their families and communities?

I doubt it. both Canada and Mexico are very proud to be autonomous of my u . s ., and both have spectacular reason to be autonomous. My u . s . may lose a lot, for a minimum of two causes: we choose Mexico and Canada as prepared allies, and soaking up both u . s . devoid of complete consent does not help us in any respect. And, it really is unclear that the u . s . a . ought to manage to all of that land. no man or woman in this u . s . needs us to seem something like the former Soviet Union. that is strictly what the state of affairs you defined may entail. Please trust our human beings, inspite of in case you do not continuously trust our authorities. And please end listening to conservative communicate radio, youtube, or each person else who do not communicate for most folk of my u . s ..

Mexicans will no longer be illegals if Mexico is annexed by the US. Perhaps, the Mexicans must conduct an election to determine if they want to be under US to improve their standard of living or remain as Mexican patriots but sacrificing with a bad economy.

You mean it's not already? After having visited Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California, I was under the assumption the border had evaporated.
My bad.

Because then their citizens would be making the US minimum wage and there's like 60 million workers bankrupting the nation, and there's really no prospective or economical output of the land other than a few farms, maybe some DVDs and a Cancun getaway.
