Even witches esp Isabell Theroux can control Superman in Season 4 If im not mistaken. ehehe

Sadly, Jean would beat Superman easily.
Since her Telepathic powers would be very powerful in this form, and since in the OMAC Project we have seen that Superman is not immune to Telepathy, she would be able to control him.
Also, her mutant powers give her something that may be close to magic, which is a weakness of Superman, so she would have a very good shot at beating him, without working up a sweat.
Now, if Superman were to get to her before she used her power, he might have a chance if he say froze her, but that is not likely going to happen.

Jean Grey defeated Professor X, the most powerful telepath on the planet. At the least she would read Superman's mind and realized all she needed was some kryptonite to beat him. Fight over. If she has no kryptonite, she would just take over his mind-been done before-and have him find some kryptonite and eat it. Or, she could just take him apart, molecule by molecule.
Superman's problem is that he just wouldn't tear into her right off. He would be reluctant to hit a woman. By the time he realized the extent of her powers the fight might be over. Sure, if he was ruthless he could fry her from a distance at superspeed. But, we all know he would never do that. So, she would know everything about him in an instant. He would stand there waiting for her to make a move not realizing she has made several. If he immediately attacked her-without mercy-he could win. Otherwise, the longer the fight continues she wins.
Now, if is the Phoenix Jean Grey it's not even a fair fight. That's the comic book Phoenix-not that movie Phoenix. Phoenix is to Jean Grey as Goku is to a SuperSaiyan-4. She WOULD dissolve him in an instant. Or Transmute his undies into kryptonite. But, now were talking about a force of nature.

1. Superman would win , simplybecause he's more powerful than cyclops. 2. Superman would get his butt whooped.. cuz you know he would like it dominatrix style with emma frost.. Superman's testosterone would be his weakness. Lois is no comparison with Emma. 3. Wolverine's body can heal itself.. once superman gets tired. wolverine will just finish him off. 4. Beast is smart enough to handle kryptonite. He'd figure out a way to make some chemical kryptonite explosion. So superman would lose. 5. Ice Man, can only freeze things.. And that's about it.. superman would surely kick his butt. 6. Superman would kick Storm's butt.. by the time she's summoning some earthquake or tornado...Superman with the speed of light would kick her butt. 7. Nightcrawler will do backflips, and disappear and stuff.. But nightcrawler would be no match for superman's x ray vision.. Supey would win.

superman is strong, but has a lot of major weaknesses, so Jean Grey... superman is just too... whimpy

Superman totally because he's invincible: speed, strenth, heat vision, earing, super breathe. and other stuff. Jean can only mind control, read minds, and telekinis.
