were can can i find a sony store in kuala lumpur?
and if i went there will they have the ps3?
or is it better to buy from another shop?

The place to get official Sony products will be at the SonyStyle shop located inside Suria KLCC 3rd Floor.It is the official Sony store with service center in it.Owned and managed by Sony Malaysia S.B.
This is the Sony flagship store in Malaysia.Equals to the Sony Plaza.They do have other shops in Berjaya Times Square ( VAIO only ) and Damansara but it is smaller.
As for the PS3 sold by them,theirs is the Japanese model.
All their products comes with Malaysia domestic warranty.If you requires International warranty please ask from the products advisors.They are open daily from 11am - 9pm.Other Sony shops are owned by appointed dealers
Please email to somas or Sony malaysia if the SonyStyle shop be closed for the Chinese new year.

Sony stores (exclusively Sony products only) can be found in the city and major neighbourhoods - while dept stores, shopping complexes are just as good and reputable in handling Sony products - no better no worse. Naturally one would not expect the multi brand outlets to be well versed in their products (too many). It's up to you!
Suggest you call Sony Malaysia to find out the addresses of their KL stores; or drop by KLCC Suria (Twin Towers) where Sony has a large demo store there. Latest products for you to try out.

There are 3 stores in KL:
1. Times Square
2. KLCC
3. The Curve
They have PS3. If you are going for the original and international warranty get it form a direct Sony store.

You can find sony store at mutiara damansara and ikano power centre. actually there are a number store nationwide. You can check at sony style website I think.
For ps3 price last time I checked at game shop is about rm3k. In sony store I believe the price might be cheaper.
If you want to play original ps3 games all the time, you can buy it at sony store. If not you might want to buy the modified one at local game shop. If you know what I mean.. hehehe

i know there are 3 sony stores in KL.
1) Suria KLCC
2) 1 Utama, New wing and
3) Ikano at mutriara damansara
can get all sony product there.
