Umphrey's McGee (probably the best there is right now)
Moe. (were the best before Umphreys articulated their act)
Disco Biscuits (a little unorthodox but pretty decent)
Widespread Panic (veterans, old school, singer kinda irritating)
Perpetual Groove (just nice music)
Phish (don't exist anymore, but earlier work - also check the descendants, Phil Lesh and Trey Anastasio)
By the way - none of them are "like Dave Matthews" - he is totally adult-oriented rock, no alarms and no surprises, nothing sudden, nothing bad... very mediocre, for the most part.

On George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" album, there are 3 or 4 songs that are pure jams, no lyrics. The best thing about those jams is that they included Eric Clapton and practically the rest of what was to be Derek and the Dominoes (most famous for "Layla"). So if you want some great guitar interchange, try "I Remember Jeep," "Thanks for the Pepperoni," and "Out of the Blue." If you want some songs that you can just really lay back to and never feel compelled to change tracks, go Pink Floyd. Their three most famous albums are "Dark Side of the Moon," "Wish You Were Here," and "The Wall." The "Dark Side of the Moon" album is probably the most laid back. There are some "spacey" instumentals inbetween songs so it has a slight "trippy" feel. "The Wall" is the most hard-hitting, but it has it's laid back moments. "Wish You Were Here" is kind of a mix of the other two albums.
