There are several different classes of workers in Japan, so it is kind of hard to answer your question with just one number.
Upper admin. positions - 500,000yen to 700,000yen per month.
Average drone worker - 250,000yen to 450,000yen per month.
Entry position and women retailers - 100,000yen to 200,000yen per month.
There are a lot of people who fill in the gaps, and if you count executives and politicians, they are on another scale entirely.
Average wages for a foreign English teacher is right around 300,000yen a month.
Hope this helps.
