Yes, as a child, on my left eye. I do not remember it, and the good doctor's presume I must have been sleeping or near sleeping not to remember, the eye was infected so badly they put a patch on it for a very very long time, and when they took it off the muscle did not work, and it was kind of in the outer corner, so they made me wear a patch on the good eye, to force what they called the "lazy" eye to work, for an even longer time than the infected eye. The results were eventually my vision was a tiny bit off in the eye originally bitten and 20 in the other. I have never forgotten the experience of having to wear a patch on one eye and then the other for what seemed like forever (I was very young). I like spiders they eat other bugs. I don't like noticing if I don't see a couple in my house for fairly long. I wonder if the problem with my eye was actually a spider bite. But I really really don't like BIG spiders.:)

During my first pregnancy I lived in a house in the middle of vineyards in Sonoma County, CA. I woke up one morning to discover a fat, wide, bumpy red wiggly trail across my neck. It itched a lot, but putting very hot water on it (shower) felt like I was scratching it (mmmmgood), then it felt better after I dried (I think it got some poison out). I moved my bed (oof), and a big spider went scurrying. I, in my excitement, killed it.
Then, my relative got bitten by an unknown spider, on his shin. It got painful and swollen. He went to the doctor, I don't remember what the remedy was. Right about then there were articles in the paper about the seriousness of the Brown Recluse's bite...jeez.

Yes, but a small one. I was reaching under a sink for cleaner something, and pulled it out with two bite marks in my hand. It turned red and puffy.
When I was camping in a cabin, there were brown recluse spiders running around the floor. I caught one and chased my friends around. They are all whimps. Long ago memory.

And turn into a dorky lame Spider-man, no way! I rather died, went to hell, and come back as Spawn without the burning face. I just keep my beautiful face and my fluffy long hair.
