I haven't talked to her in over a month, but we were very close. She is on drugs very badly and has dropped all contact with me. I feel like I need to contact her so she can't say I just abandoned her, but I don't know if she wants me to. Should i just act like I don't know or should I make an effort to let her know I care?

Even if she does not wish to have contact with you, you will feel better if you place a call or send a letter expressing your sorrow on her loss. She may not want your call, but then again she may really need a friend right now. I will say if you do nothing, it will always bother you.

Yes. You should call her. I mean, what are friends for right? If you don't call her or contact her, she might as well think that you abandoned her. She might even rebel and hate the world! Go! Call her and show her that you care!

Yes, you should call she needs help and you should show that you care because if you don't maybe no one will. Take the first step and help her.

Let her know you care about her and hew well being. Comfort her about her uncle. Try to mend your friendship and help her problem.
