I was wondering, right now I have a Samsung A650 & it's about 2 years old. In March I will get a new phone [Next Month].

I hate my phone now [Samsung A650] the phone gets hot after talking to long, the battery goes dead REALLY quick, it doesn't hold a charge very long at all, & even if you have it on silent, it still makes noise when it's going dead [In class, that is not such a good thing lol].

What I was wondering is: Does this have anything to do with the Samsung phone or is it just the phone being old.

Because I am looking for phones that are Verizon capable & I'm not sure if I want to go to Samsung.

But, I'm not sure if it's Samsung brands that are bad or if it is just the phone being an older phone.

Feedback please :-D

Well the older the battery the shorter time it will hold a charge. So after two years with the same battery is not too too bad.

Anyway, Verizon has new phones now. Now when your contract is up DO NOT sign a contract right away. When my Sprint 2 year contract ran out, I just payed my monthly bill. Anyway, a month later I get a letter from Sprint saying that if I signed a 2 year contract I would get 10% off. I had talked to the customer service and they offered 5% if I renewed which I did not. Anyway, hold out and tell them you are thinking of changing and what will they do to make you happy. Never know.

Anyway, the below URL is just some of the verizon phones. If you can, decide on which one you want by looking on the verizon URL. Sometimes you can get a better deal on the internet. In San Antonio on the internet, they have one phone you get on line and they GIVE YOU $35 back. Yea, the phone wars are starting now. Now one site they have the green chocolate phone you pay $129 with Verizon and the other company is $29.

But the trick is to look on the verizon URL for the phone you want. Then you just go and google verizon phones and see who gives you the best deal. Of course you may wait a couple of days for the phone to arrive BUT you can get a better phone at a lower price.

What to look for in a phone.
1. If you like to listen to music you can get one that is a MP3 player.
2. Make sure it is bluetooth. That way you buy a nice earpiece and look cool in school too. lol Plus you can drive and talk at the same time and not be handling a phone.
3. I do not know your money situation. But they have plans where you can watch TV on the phone. Then you would have to get a phone that is TV capable or even internet capable too.
4. Be aware of phones that have a memory slot. You can buy a SD memory card and store your music in them. You would stick the card in your computer card reader and if it did not have one they you buy one and plug it in to your USB port. Get a 1 or 2 Gb card on the internet, cheaper than the store. Try crucial.com, so if the card does not work you can at least get the money back.
5. Cameras come on the phones and look at that if you are interested.
6. Remember to look at the PDA/Smartphones and blackberry too.

Do your homework ahead of time and that way when March comes you will find that buying the phone on the internet is better.

I worked for a wireless phone company for 5 years. There was never a set problem (on record) for one or the other. They all last about a year or two AT THE MOST. Nokias were always the best and lasted longest. However, they all have a short life-span. They (phone manufacturers...not your wireless phone company!) expect consumers to become enamored/bored and "WANT" the best next thing every year or so and never notice they all go to crap so quickly! Something to think about! Don't expect your cell phone company to replace your crap phone every year unless you expect your cable TV provider to replace your television every year or so with an upgrade!!!!!!! Your "cell" provider only provides service. Not the actual equipment, like your cable provider!!! Most people don't realize that!

P.S. NEVER get a Motorola!!!!! No matter how "great" they look!

Samsung phones are really loud especially if its battery low. When it comes to Cell phone i suggest you get the Nokia its one of the best selling phone in Asia. It works even if you dropped it. i have nokia phone since 1998 and until now if i bought a new one i still pick nokia. And the best thing is its easy to operate even how complicated the features are. go to Nokia.com your gonna see the latest phone there thats not even available in the store.

Motorolla
There are lots of good things about it...
Too many to mention- you'll have 2 check out the specific phones. The only bad thing I can think of is mabye that they aren't as durable when dropped. Otherwise- they have great features and are VERY cool looking.
Hope that helps!

the only paint that I know of is the plastic paint or the airbrush type paint you can purchase from a craft store. The little bottles ranges from 0.59 to 1.29. But I can't understand why the model paint doesn't work.
