I live in a conservative area, so I often hear a lot conservative talk radio and I occasionally watch fox news. When ever I listen to any conservative talk show host, excluding Evangelicals, I get a message of political incorrectness and Liberal bashing. Words like: "turning Al Gore into a puddle" and "socialist pigs" (when referring to Democrats) and shouting shut up loudly at the person they are interviewing; are all stuff I often hear. So honestly how do people enjoy this stuff? And why do the hosts act immorally portray themselves as politically incorrect tough guys people on their shows, even while promoting moral values?

Because they are scared to death. Michael Savage is the worst. His false bravado is comical. Sean Insanity is just not smart enough to know any better. Rush is mad because his lunch money was taken all the time when he was a kid. He made up for it though to the tune of about 300 lbs. Oh yeah, he can't get it up without viagra too. That can make you irritable from what I hear.

I have only heard a couple of them do that, and only one of them is in the top 3. Rush and Glenn Beck are VERY respectful toward their critics and i sometimes wonder why they let people say the things they do on their own shows. Rush will speak up when the caller is out of line, but Glenn just takes it. Hannity is bad about not letting the caller finish his/her comment. The most respectable conservative talk show hosts don't act in that manner, and the ones who do are annoying to their conservative listeners as well.

It's because many of the viewers aren't in it to actually listen to the alternative viewpoints. The viewers of many conservative talk shows already see the Democrats/liberals/Muslim imam as the bad guy, and simply want to see "that side" smacked down by "our side."

I've never heard Al Franken say "shut up," though I've heard him raise his voice when the person he was talking to started shouting--go figure.

It's called "entertainment".

There is no distinction between the liberal talk show hosts or the conservative talk show hosts when it comes to expectorating their wit. The only distinction is their particular point of view.

Do yourself a favor and turn the channel to music. Especially when driving. We have enough road rage as it is.

The gestapo personalities that can't deal with truth, won't let those interviewed finish their sentences when asked a question and the response doesn't jive with the interviewer's political agenda. "Rush" is nothing but a boring drug addict who would blame his underpaid illegal immigrant housekeeper instead of fessing up to his addiction; he does nothing but repeat over-used nonsensical political slogans and mindless and baseless political propaganda! They spew FACTOIDS but NO concrete facts, evidences or proofs. No matter how loud or how many times you repeat a lie... it won't make it the truth anywhere or anytime!

They promote "morals" by speaking of Jim & Tammy Bakker, Pat Robertson, Ted Haggard and Jimmy Swaggart as though they were saints instead of sex perverts, degenerates, dopers, demagogues, liars and swindlers of the elderly from retirement nursing homes!

Yeah, they talk a good b/s while they have security personnel around them but won't talk that crap in any major inner-city neighborhood! They're a bunch of sissies! They'd be a punk's (b)itch within minutes of arriving in any jail or prison, that's for sure! (Imagine big-mouth Rush in a prison shower!)

What can you expect from people that still watch reruns of Hew-Haw as reality shows and Jerry Springer for a news talk show? What can the public expect from those yokels and rednecks who read The Enquierer in their latrines? Their idea of dressing up is putting on white sheets and white hoods and running around in the middle of the night burning crosses! Their idea of a beauty show is a hog calling contest with their favorite barflies!

Because it makes them more interesting and gets better ratings. By the way, what is politically correct is not necessarily moral. Political correctness has little to do with morality most of the time.

I haven't seen this yet! I suppose you'd rather keep watching
the liberals do it who hold no claims to good morals, but it's
not your right to judge them just like they shouldn't judge you!
If they do,oh' well,it's between you & them. Don't keep on
spreading the hate around towards those who have morals
unless you want someone with morals to show you that they
too are all too human just like you,& have weaknesses, and
might wanna put some hurting on you!!!
Don't judge or if you do,then play fair,so when you get judged
you can handle it,ok?

I consider myself fairly conservative and am a Fox fan but have to agree that Hannity is annoying. He doesn't listen to his guests and cuts them off too often. Still, I'd rather listen to him than the latest bs from Keith O

Why do liberal talk show hosts and stuff speak so disrespectably and loudly about conservatives?

Hillary Clinton (she even bashes democrats, calling Obama a crack addicted muslim; she called Bush a drunk too)

Its 1:30 am so i dont wanna brainstorm liberal media hosts and talk show hosts...

but watch cohan, jay leno, peter colbert, john stewart....

the headlines and insulting things are to attract viewers...
who doesnt wanna watch someone insult the opposing party...

those kinda headlines attract people to read / not change the channel...
its marketing.

i think to add a bit of spice to their normally wry talking...it makes in more fun to listen too. but quite a handful of liberals speak like that as well...Rosie O and Al Franken are among the worst.
