I'm 25 with a 2 1/2 year old son and I still don't "truly feel grown up"! I feel mature and responsible, but I still feel young.

i wonder when this happens! i'm 25, married, graduated from college, and am due to have a baby anyday now and i still feel like a kid!! i wonder if anyone ever feels grown up? i feel a hell of a lot more responsible, but not grown up. maybe this mindset will keep me young at heart! :o)

never. you think you'll get there when you start making some big bucks but it's never enough. then you think you'll get there when you get married...but then you feel like a kid playing house. then you think maybe after i have a kid...but then you just feel like a babysitter a lot of times. i'm beginning to wonder if i'll feel like i'm grown up when it gets to a point when my parents are old and i have to start taking care of them. i doubt it. i don't think you ever feel truly grown up.

When you start thinking about the future in realistic terms (No more, "I'm gonna be a rock star!") and you start taking care of your financial future. Also when your parents really play no part in your life, you are no longer asking to borrow money, etc.

im 13 yrs old.. i felt grown up(12yrs.old) when i loved some one and when some had a crush on me... and when my maid keeps on telling me that i should be more responsible because im getting older.. well, its kinda sucks because if your parents saw that you're grown up.. they will tell you to be independent. like you should pay for the things you want to buy.. im sorry if it's disarranged.. im just 13.. i hope it helps..! XD

When I had my son, I was eighteen years old, and I grew up really fast, yes I was a kid but I love my son and I'm happy I have him.
