Video Game & Console
#1: Nintendo Game Cube
Basically, this console is the only type of console that is friendly-like. All the games that a kid would like are here. From the classic Mario Brothers to her favortie TV shows. If she likes action, Lego: Star wARS IS A MUST.
Since this is in the "Video Game section, i suppose ""GAMES"" would be reffered to as vid games"

I'm assuming that you mean video games. If not, I'm sorry for intruding.
The Wii is a good system for kid-friendly kind of games, I think. The Sports game is fun; it's got tennis, baseball, boxing, bowling, and golf. (She might not yet have the attention span for bowling or golf yet, but you never know.) I think that there are a lot of children's shows out there that have licensed games. I know that there are some Spongebob games out there for the PS2 and I think for the GameCube, but you might want to double-check me on that. (If there are, you can play GameCube games on the Wii, so that works out well.)
If you're looking for something online, there's maybe the neopets.com arcade (http://www.neopets.com/games/arcade.phtml) I've never done anything of that sort of thing before, but it all looks pretty shiny and colorful and kid-friendly. Someone mentioned disney.com, and I'm sure that Nickelodeon has some sort of website set up.
If you don't mean video games, Barbie's always a winner, as is hide and seek. Bratz seem a little too fashion-conscious for me to be comfortable with them, but it may just be resentment because they're (or at least, they were for awhile) encroaching on Barbie's territory. I don't really know what board games are out there these days, but they've usually got age suggestions on the box.
On top of that, you could always ask her what she wants to do. Sometimes she could give you ideas; children are unbelievably and almost uniformly imaginative.

oo thats a good question. There are tons of games that you can play with kindergarteners. such as, tag, hide and seek, and others like candy land, chutes and ladders, memory games, those learning highlights books, and flash card games. Any kind of game that will promote learning will be a good game.
Hope i helped! Good Luck

If you have time, get paper and crayons and let the child go at it. Just give them a topic to play. You'll be surprised how creative they are. I teach a class of 5-7 year-olds, who loves to do that besides listening to stories.

any, just make up a game on the spot, Hide and seek, ring a ring a rosie, or go outside and kick a ball around or run, anything active or that is very simple, girls love to throw or kick a ball just as much as boys.

I have a 16 month baby and I go to Disney.com pretty often, they have videos, activities, shows and games for all the shows they have..
If you are talking about console games like PS2 or XBOX you will have to check the stores..
